Top 5 Vampires
There is something I forgot to mention in my “likes” section of the “About” page: lists! I love to make lists: pro/cons, ordered by preference, etc. So, now I’m going to multitask: recommend books and talk about my favorite subject: vampires!
I highly recommend that you read the books listed, and click on the links to find out more about them. If you don’t want to do that, no worries, I’ll probably write reviews on all of them. These are my favorite vampires and they’re listed in order of preference:
1. Constantine from Sunshine by Robin McKinley
2. Eric from the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris
3. Lucius from Jessica’s Guide to dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey
4. Erik (or Stark, perhaps) from the House of Night series by P.C. and Kristin Cast
5. Bones from the Night huntress series by Jeaniene Frost
A warning for the last one: it’s romance, but bones is seriously cool!

Yo. Dude. When you said you weren’t like me, earlier this evening, WRONG! You get lists from me. We’ve discussed this! You used to only make lists in your head and I make lists on everything… looks like you’ve moved from head to blog, which is an obvious move for a smart person to make. Lists on blogs are big. Keep doing those.

I love lists, and I’m glad that lists on blogs aren’t just for dorks, because even if they were, I’d still do them!

I know what you mean. He was such a possessive jerk in Hunted . Maybe I’ll replace him with Stark.

I love edward too, but I don’t want people to think that i’m a crazy edward groupie! Anyway, all of these vampires are seriously awesome.

I am going to be totally lame and pick Lestat solely because of this quote: “I was roaming again, crashing through the night on my Harley-Davidson motorcycle with the Bach Goldberg Variations turned up to full volume.” I will also be even more lame and pick a TV vampire, Nick Knight, because he had a vampire Rottweiler

Don’t get me wrong, I’m Team Edward and all, but the best vampire in Twilight is clearly Alice.
I haven’t read Hunted yet but I can see Erik being a possessive jerk.

I agree with Eric from the Sookie Stackhouse books. Course I’ve always been fascinated with vampire. Great blog btw RJ. Truly enjoy your writing.
