My favorite 3 werewolves/shifters (spoilers, not many, but a few)
Those who haven’t realized yet that I’m a total Sookie Stackhouse fan are about to get a lot of proof that I am. Along with awesome vampires, Charlaine Harris makes some pretty awesome weres and shifters. I mean Jacob Black is all right, but the Sookie books have shown me the most incredible shapeshifters ever. So here are my top 3 and why I chose them.
1. Sam Merlotte.
I Just can’t understand why Sookie doesn’t just pick him. He’s been saving her life since book 1 and has known her forever. He’s trustworthy, kind, gentle, protective without being overly possesive (unlike some vampires I can name. *ahem* that means you Bill and Eric.), and he’s attractive and has a steady job. That’s why he’s my favorite shifter.
2.Quinn
Really, Quinn was very nice (Not to mention attractive), but I totally agree with Sookie on this one. His emotional baggage is TMTB (to much to bear). His mom and sister are needy, unpleasant, and perhaps a little psychotic. Quinn himself though… he’s cool. so I’m ranking him second.
3.Calvin Norris
It really broke my heart when Sookie broke Calvin’s. Calvin was always nice to her and was forthright and honest. He could’ve supported her and would provide some awesome protection against her unseemly amount of enemies, being a werepanther and all. I don’t like him as much as Sam, but he was a nice man and, alas, not even in the running in Sookie’s mind. Shame. So he’s number 3.

Hey, I am reading a great shapeshifter book with dragons that I was going to strongly recommend once I finished it.

I know. I’ve already read it. Kiss of Fire, right?

I don’t know about Sam. It’s a little creepy how he used his shape shifting powers to sneak into Sookie’s house, don’t you think?

He was protecting her from evil murderers! Didn’t you pay any attention? Anyway, it’s no worse than what Eric does in club dead. Of course you haven’t read that yet.

I recognize that his intent was pure. But it’s still just a little bit creepy.
